JANE THORNLEY WORKSHOPS

We are pleased to announce that Jane Thornley has agreed to come to Skeins to run 2 one day workshops.

Dates are 28/29 October 2009 and places are limited to 20 each day. The cost of £50 (includes a £25 non-refundable deposit) includes all refreshments and a light lunch.  See more information on the events page. 

The Skeins Studio is open for business - opening times are Thursday, Saturday and Sunday 10 -3 each day.

We are pleased to announce that we have now taken delivery of stock from Bergere de France, Artisano, Brittany needles, Debbie Bliss, Noro and Aracunia and SIRDAR.  Although we have only a limited range at present we are hoping to increase this as we are asked for various ranges.

We have also got a small selection from GREEN EYED MONSTERS.  These are truly individual yarns with some being both hand dyed then hand spun plus they are produced locally.  It is nice to find talented people who are eager to share their products with others.

BIRTHDAY SPECIAL

It's a big birthday for me in July and to celebrate there are no postage charges from 01 June until 31 July 2009.

COURSES

After a succesful day of beginner's workshops in June bookings are now being taken for a SOCK workshop and Knitting with Beads (both with Debbie Tomkies of DT Craft and Design) and Needlefelted Christmas card and ornament.
